Scope of work for Inch Cape:
Fabrication of Pile Installation Frame Centralising Shim Assemblies, Link Arms and Connection Pins and Bearings. This involved the fabrication, welding, machining and finish line-boring of a total of 24 No Shims Assemblies, each supplied with 2 No Link Arm Fabrications and the machining of all associated Connection Pins and Bearings.
Outcomes:
The work involved on this project created several fabrication and machining jobs for local people and provided valuable learning and experience for our established work teams and apprentices. Several welders achieved additional codings that were required to complete the works and we hope that the successful delivery of this project will help position JGC well for further similar work packages.
