JGC Engineering & Technical Services Ltd offers a 3-year Apprenticeship Programme in Fabrication & Welding. Each year, we take on approximately four apprentices, providing hands-on experience, training, and a pathway to a skilled career in the engineering industry.

Job Overview:
JGC Engineering & Technical Services Ltd are looking to recruit 2nd Year Apprentices to join our growing team.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have already completed a SVQ Level 2 qualification in an engineering discipline and are ready to take the next step in their career.
Successful candidates will be employed full-time while working towards a SVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding Engineering, gaining hands-on experience in a busy engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting experienced engineers and tradespeople across projects
- Developing practical skills in a real working environment
- Contributing to fabrication, mechanical, or multi-disciplinary work (depending on pathway)
- Working towards completion of a SVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding Engineering
Candidate Requirements:
- Completed Level 2 Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Interest in progressing into a full engineering career
- Ability to work as part of a team
Working Hours:
Mon – Thu 0700 – 1715 (39 hour week)
