On behalf of the UKAEA we were appointed to design, manufacture, works test, install and commission a fully integrated high integrity active ventilation plant room. The modular construction gives clear advantages over normal site construction activities in terms of safety, cost certainty and programme certainty.

D2001 Ventilation Upgrade

JGC Engineering & Technical Services Ltd were awarded the contract to design, manufacture, inspect, test, deliver, install and commission the entire ventilation systems for the D2001 facility on the Dounreay site. The ventilation is full Stainless Steel construction high integrity duct. Both the supply and extract systems were included in the project works scope. All integrated heating systems were also included as part of the work scope. The control, instrumentation and electrical systems were also completed by JGC as part of the overall contract
