JGC were awarded a contract from UKAEA for the manufacture, works assembly and commissioning of the Drum Posting Equipment for the Dounreay Cementation Plant Import / Export Facility. The project involved high tolerance fabrication and machining works and the erection of an 8.5m high mock up structure in which the drum posting equipment was erected and commissioned. JGC were also awarded a contract for the final installation and setting to work of the equipment within the Import / Export Facility at Dounreay Site.
