JGC are fully conversant with working in radiological designated areas as defined by the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999. (IRR99)

In line with the requirements of IRR99 the following appointments have been made:-

Radiation Protection Adviser - NRPB
Approved Dosimetry Service - RWE Nukem - Dounreay
Appointed Doctor - Dr G Morris

The Company has fully certified Radiation Protection Supervisors who are formally appointed to carry out their duties on a contract by contract basis. Our site operatives are classified radiation workers and are fully trained in all aspects of Barrier Drill, Local rules etc and, are fully trained in the use of Radiological Protection Equipment including full pressurised suits.
